SAM SOLUTIONS
Find Your Domain. Research It. Decide What’s Next.
Check domain availability, explore website history and public registration details, then request registration support—or watch a domain that’s already taken.

Find a domain, research its past, then request registration support or watch it if it is already taken.
STEP 1 — START WITH AVAILABILITY
Find Your Business Domain
Start by checking whether the domain you want is available.
Enter a complete domain name, such as yourbusiness.com. Search .com, .net, .org or .ae without leaving this page.
Availability is a preliminary registry lookup, not a reservation or a price quote. Final registration is subject to registrar confirmation, registry rules and any premium pricing.
STEP 2 — RESEARCH BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Check Domain History & WHOIS/RDAP Details
Before choosing a domain, explore previous website snapshots and public registration information. Owner details may be privacy protected.
Website history
WHOIS / registration details
Background / reputation: Not checked. Archive history is not a security or reputation assessment.
What these checks can tell you
Archived snapshots may show earlier versions of a website. No archive found does not mean the domain has never been used. Public WHOIS/RDAP data may show the registrant name or organization, registrar, dates and nameservers. The registrar is the registration provider, not necessarily the domain owner. Privacy or proxy records do not identify the underlying owner. Missing public data does not establish availability. Expiration does not guarantee that a domain will become available.
STEP 3 — CHOOSE YOUR NEXT MOVE
What Should You Do Next?
If the domain is available
Happy with the name and its history? Ask us to confirm registration eligibility and the setup you need.
Request Domain RegistrationIf it is already registered
Try another name, or monitor this domain for supported public record changes. Monitoring does not reserve a domain.
Watch This DomainSTEP 4 — OPTIONAL, IF YOUR DOMAIN IS TAKEN
Domain Taken? Watch It for Changes
Already taken? Receive an email when public registration details change. Confirm your email to start a 90-day watch.
How monitoring works
We check public status codes, expiry dates and nameservers approximately daily when the site scheduler runs. A change does not guarantee that a domain will become available.
Domain Registration & Setup
Registration & renewals
Discuss the chosen name, registration term, ownership and renewal reminders before ordering.
DNS & business email
Connect your domain to a website, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace with agreed DNS changes.
Transfers & ownership
Review existing registrar access, transfer eligibility and contact details before moving a domain.
A practical check before choosing a domain
A domain can be available today and still have website history. If archived pages show an unrelated business, consider whether that history suits your brand before choosing the name. SAM Solutions can discuss registration eligibility and the DNS, hosting or business email setup you need. Archive snapshots alone do not establish a domain’s reputation or security.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I check if a domain is available?
Enter a complete domain, such as yourbusiness.com, in the availability checker above. The result is preliminary; only a successful registration reserves it.
Should I check a domain’s history before registering it?
Yes. Earlier website snapshots can help you understand previous use. They do not establish a domain’s reputation or security, and no archive found does not prove it was never used.
How can I see whether a domain had a previous website?
Use the history checker above to look for an Internet Archive snapshot. When available, its archive link lets you explore saved pages on the archive service.
What is WHOIS, and what is RDAP?
WHOIS is the familiar term for registration lookups. RDAP is a structured protocol for retrieving public registration records. This tool uses supported RDAP sources.
Can I find out who owns a domain?
Sometimes a public record includes a registrant name or organization. Privacy protection, proxy services and registry policies may hide the underlying owner. A registrar is the registration provider, not necessarily the owner.
What should I do if my chosen domain is already registered?
Consider an alternative name, or use Domain Watch for supported public record changes. If you already own the domain, ask about transfer or setup support.
What does Domain Watch monitor?
It checks supported public registration status codes, expiry dates and nameservers approximately daily when the website scheduler runs. Email confirmation starts a 90-day watch; you can unsubscribe at any time.
Does monitoring guarantee I can register the domain later?
No. Expiration or a record change does not guarantee availability, release timing or a right to register the domain.
What happens after the search?
Send us the domain you want. We confirm eligibility, registration and renewal costs, and the setup scope before you commit. A domain shown as registered is unavailable for a new registration; ask us about alternatives or a transfer of a domain you already own.
Ready to Set Up Your Domain?
Send us your chosen domain and tell us whether you need hosting, business email or DNS support. We confirm eligibility, scope and any charges before work begins.
